Design of the Telemetry, Tracking and Communication (TT&C) UHF transceiver of a cubesat, operating at 436MHz. The transceiver operates in half-duplex mode, transmitting and receiving BPSK at 9600 bit/s and AFSK at 1200 bit/s
(for amateur radio compatibility).

The development comprises both the development of the RF frontend (low noise amplifiers, gain blocks, filters, mixers and automatic gain control), and also the digital signal processing signal chain from ADC/DAC samples to
decoded/transmitted bits. The RF frontend implementation will rely on commercially available space-graded ICs and the baseband backend on either available ICs or on a custom programmed digital signal processor.
