The purpose of the present Case Study is to integrate the Telescope Assembly (TA) thermal model with the complete ARIEL model and study the PLM behavior.

ARIEL (Atmospheric Remote -sensing Infrared Exoplanet Large -survey) is a medium size mission proposed by ESA whose main payload is a cryogenic telescope. The spacecraft is composed by a warm Service Module (SVM) and a cold Payload Module (PLM). The Telescope Assembly is a main structural component located in the coldest part of the PLM and it is critical since it supports the mirrors and it is thermally linked to the optical elements.
